Salmon & Spicy Prawn Kebabs

Salmon & prawns work really well together and are a good source of protein.  These kebabs are easy to prepare and are perfect for a mid week meal or a bbq.  


You will need...

2 bowls
12-14 bamboo Skewers
20 raw king prawns
4 salmon fillets
1 unwaxed lemon & zest
1 tbsp harissa paste
1 tbsp olive oil
Handful of fresh parsley
Freshly milled salt & pepper
Tin foil



To make...

Serves 4-6

  1. Preheat the grill to high, cover the grill pan with tin foil
  2. Marinate the prawns in a bowl with 1 tsp olive oil, 1 tbsp harissa paste, season well and add some of the chopped parsley
  3. Cube the salmon into bite size chunks, place into the other bowl, add the oil, season well and zest the lemon into the bowl, mix well
  4. Thread 3-4 salmon cubes onto a skewer and do the same with the prawns onto another skewer
  5. Grill for 10 minutes, turning half way to ensure they are evenly cooked
  6. Once cooked, squeeze the lemon juice over both the salmon and the prawns and scatter with the remaining parsley
  7. Serve with my spiced tabbouleh or a green salad
  8. These kebabs can be eaten hot or cold and will keep in the fridge for 2 days
