Hazelnut & Apricot Granola

Wholegrain oats are an essential wholegrain that are a natural powerhouse of goodness and are proven to help lower cholesterol.  Homemade granola is easier than you think.  Simply put everything pan with a little unrefined sugar and honey, then put  it all in a roasting dish, roast on a low heat and viola... you have just made your own breakfast!  Delicious served simply with milk or super yummy with Greek yoghurt and a handful of berries!

Equipment
Medium - large sauce pan
Large roasting tray
Non stick baking parchment

Ingredients
200g wholegrain jumbo rolled oats
100g roasted hazelnuts chopped
60g pumpkin seeds
60g golden linseeds
100g chopped apricots
100g golden unrefined caster sugar
3 tbs honey
1/2 tsp cinnamon
100g unsalted butter
