A little bit about Eat Unique and myself, Lindsey Fosker
Firstly, I am a self confessed foodie. I come from a long line of foodies. My husband is a serious foodie and so are our teenage children.
I think about food A LOT.
I chose the name 'Eat Unique' as I love to EAT and the recipes I will be producing are all very UNIQUE.
Quite a few years ago, I started making healthy food swaps, white rice and pasta, to wholegrain, white flour to spelt and wholegrain, white sugar to unrefined coconut sugar, unrefined golden caster sugar, raw honey and maple syrup. Still sugar but just less processed.
My family and I feel so much better for it.
Now I truly wish to inspire others to do the same!
To further my passion for eating healthier and to further my knowledge and understanding of nutrition, I studied a variety of nutrition courses with Future Fit Training who are affiliated with the Associated for Nutrition (AFN).
I qualified in September 2016 with a Level 3 City & Guilds in the following:
The recipes are fresh, colourful, fully tested and most importantly taste delicious. The recipes are seasonal for optimum nutrition and flavour. My recipes are aimed for people with busy lives who don't have time to cook elaborate fussy meals and who want to eat healthier.
